I’ll use any excuse to bring out the pretty pink party-ware but what better day to do so than Valentine’s Day?  Here’s a simple and elegant Valentine’s Day tablescape that would be great for a Valentine’s Day party, a “Galentine’s” brunch, or, in my book, a random Monday morning 😉  I started with our everyday placemats to keep things simple.  Then I added our wedding chargers , these beautiful stoneware plates,  these gilded rim wine glasses, and these adorable arrow double old fashioned glasses.  As a centerpiece, I piled pink, fluffy, heart-shaped marshmallows on top of a pretty cake stand.  I had to because when else would that be acceptable??  You can never go wrong with spray roses and I found the most beautiful pink and white ones at our local Whole Foods.  I kept them in little bud vases alongside the cake stand so that they wouldn’t block guests from seeing each other.  Soft pink linen napkins, gold flatware, and little heart garlands completed the look.
